Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 13 June 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (‘AUP’) sets out what you may and may not do when using Hadal Cloud (the ‘Services’). It is part of our Terms of Service and exists to keep messaging safe, wanted, and compliant with the policies of the channels we support, including the WhatsApp Business Messaging, Business, and Commerce Policies.
1. Consent and opt-in
- Message people only where you have obtained valid opt-in consent to be contacted on the relevant channel, and keep evidence of that consent.
- Make clear who you are and why you are messaging at the point of opt-in.
- Do not buy, scrape, or use contact lists collected without consent.
2. Honour opt-outs
- Provide a clear way to opt out and stop messaging anyone who opts out.
- Respect keyword opt-outs (such as STOP) and other unsubscribe requests promptly.
- Do not attempt to circumvent blocks, rate limits, or quality controls.
3. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not use the Services to send or facilitate:
- Spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent content.
- Content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that promotes violence or discrimination.
- Goods or services prohibited by applicable law or by the WhatsApp Commerce Policy (for example, illegal drugs, weapons, or other restricted categories).
- Malware, phishing, or links intended to harm or deceive recipients.
- Impersonation of any person or organisation, or false sender identity.
- Sensitive personal data where you lack a lawful basis, or content that exploits or endangers minors.
4. Platform integrity
- Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services without authorisation.
- Do not reverse engineer, resell, or overload the Services or its APIs.
- Maintain good sending quality; repeated blocks or low quality ratings may be limited.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may throttle, suspend, or terminate access, remove content, or report activity to a third-party provider or authority. Channel providers such as Meta may independently restrict or disable accounts that violate their policies. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate termination.
6. Reporting abuse
To report abuse or a security concern, contact abuse@hadalcloud.com or security@hadalcloud.com.
